FED: Cobb sentence appeal rejected
The Federal Court has dismissed a prosecution appeal against the sentence imposed on former
National Party MP MICHAEL COBB, who was convicted of travel rorts offences last year.
COBB, 54, was the member for the federal seat of Parkes in central NSW from 1984 until the
last election.
He was fined $14,000 and handed a two year suspended jail term after being found guilty
last October of five charges of imposing …
